In an institution, schools, commercial enterprises or offices, all the clocks in all the departments should show the same time. This needs all the clocks to be synchronized to each other. Synchronized clocks find their usage in such applications. These clocks work on the master slave concept. Master clock is connected to slave clocks either through wired (LAN or RS485) connectivity or through wireless network. Time information is periodically passed to the slaves matching timings of all the clocks.
